Balm of the Woodland Elves Organic, Natural Skin Hydration
An ancient elven alchemy, this magical balm restores and re-hydrates your skin. Discover the secrets of the natural realm captured in unrefined shea butter, extra virgin coconut oil and calendula-steeped sweet almond oil - all organic and sustainably sourced..
As a healing remedy, massage it into cuticles, knuckles, elbows, knees or any dry, irritated patch of skin any time you need to. It is useful in relieving eczema, helping your skin heal, You may want to try using the soap-free cleansing regimen on your eczema as described below.
Use it to clear up athlete's foot. Apply it in the morning and before you go to bed.
For dry winter skin, burned summer skin, and skin subjected to harsh chemicals (like commercial skin products}, let this balm restore your skin after a good cleanse with our Oat Healing Herb Soap or Comfrey Root Soap.
A soap-free skin cleansing treatment that naturally softens clogged pores to release the collected toxins, works well with Balm of the Woodland Elves. Simply warm your skin with a hot wet washcloth and apply the Balm.
The next time you wash, use only the hot cloth and give your skin a light scrub. Apply the Balm again. Repeat every day at least in the morning and evening. After a week or so, you will see a marked improvement as your skin has the chance to naturally expel dirt and bacteria.
And have I mentioned the scent? It is of a wildwood grove filled with junipers, aspen and balsam, where the elven folk frolic under a high, bright moon! mmm, magic!
Because there is no water in this formula, it takes a little longer to absorb into the skin. So enjoy rubbing it in for a moment. Breathe in the beautiful scent. Really feel your skin transforming as you massage your hands, arms, feet....
This also means the formula is temperature sensitive and is best kept at room temperature (no more than 75 degrees). If it does melt, put it in the refrigerator for quick cooling to harden up again. This will keep the shea butter from "seeding out" - a harmless but unsightly condition of little white lumps in the balm.
